The Leapmotor B03X is priced at Rs. 46,99,000 for the single ProMax variant. Shangrila Motors offered an introductory price of Rs. 44,99,000 for the first 100 buyers.
Only one variant, the ProMax, is sold in Nepal. It comes fully loaded with a 53 kWh battery, 145 kW motor, seven airbags and the complete Level 2 driver assistance package, so there is nothing to choose between.
The B03X is rated at 382 km on the WLTP cycle and 505 km on the Chinese CLTC cycle from its 53 kWh battery. WLTP is the more conservative figure and the better one to plan around.
A CCS2 DC fast charger takes the battery from 30 to 80 percent in about 16 minutes at up to 133 kW. The Type 2 AC port accepts up to 11 kW, but that needs a three-phase connection, so a single-phase home supply will take considerably longer.
It has 190 mm of ground clearance, hill hold and hill descent control, and a 10-metre turning circle, which covers both broken city roads and tight lanes. It is front-wheel drive with a torsion beam rear axle, so it is built for tarmac and rough tarmac rather than serious off-roading.
The battery is covered for 8 years or 160,000 km, and the vehicle including the e-powertrain is covered for 4 years or 100,000 km.
Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd., based in Uttardhoka, Kathmandu, is the authorised sole importer for Leapmotor in Nepal and handles sales and after-sales service.
