1. Information We Collect

You can browse the site, compare cars, and use our calculators without giving us any personal information. We collect it only when you use a feature that needs it:

• Account: when you sign in with Google, your name and email address. We never see your Google password.
• Test drive and callback requests: your name, phone number, and city, and your email address, preferred date, and message if you add them.
• Newsletter: your email address.
• Feedback: your rating and comments, with the page you were on and your browser and device type.
• Technical information: like most websites, we receive your IP address and basic browser details when you visit.
• Usage information: through Google Analytics, how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device and browser, and approximate location. We look at it in aggregate, never to identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To run your account and keep you signed in.
• To pass your test drive or callback request to the dealer for that car.
• To send the newsletter you subscribed to.
• To answer your messages and improve the site.
• To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We never sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

3. When We Share It

• With dealers: when you send a test drive or callback request, we share your details with the authorized dealer for that car, so they can contact you. From then on, the dealer’s own privacy practices apply.
• With service providers: the companies that host the site, store our data, run sign-in, measure how the site is used, and send our emails. They use your information only to provide their services to us, and some may process it outside Nepal.
• When the law requires it: to comply with a legal obligation or a lawful request from an authority, or to protect our readers and the site.

4. Cookies

We use the cookies the site needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the site. Your browser keeps your compare list on your device. We don’t use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, though you need them to sign in.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as we need it: your account until you ask us to delete it, your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe, and requests and feedback for up to 24 months. Technical information is kept only briefly.

6. How We Protect It

We protect your information with encrypted connections, restricted access, and other safeguards. No system is completely secure, but if a breach affects your information, we’ll tell you and act on it as the law requires.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us to:

• show you the personal information we hold about you;
• correct it if it’s wrong;
• delete it, including your account;
• stop using it, such as by unsubscribing from the newsletter.

8. Children

You must be at least 16 to create an account, send a request, or subscribe. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. We’ll post the new version here with its date and, for significant changes, let you know on the site.
