The MG Windsor EV starts at Rs. 41,49,000 for the Excite, Rs. 44,25,000 for the Exclusive and Rs. 46,99,000 for the Essence, ex-showroom.
The Exclusive is the sweet spot. Over the Excite it adds R18 alloy wheels, the 15.6-inch GrandView display, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, a 6-way power driver seat and auto-folding mirrors for Rs. 2,76,000 more.
The MG Windsor EV is rated at 332 km on a single charge from its 38 kWh battery, tested on the MIDC cycle. Expect less in real Kathmandu traffic and on hill routes.
A 7.4 kW AC charger fills it in about seven hours, and a 45 kW CCS2 DC fast charger takes it from 20 to 80 percent in roughly 45 minutes. Every variant ships with a 3.3 kW portable charging cable.
It has 186 mm of unladen ground clearance, hill hold assist and hill descent control, which cover most of the roads and highway runs. It is a front-wheel-drive crossover, so it is not built for rough off-road tracks.
The Excite and Exclusive offer 604 litres, while the Essence has 579 litres because of its glass roof structure. Rear seats split 60:40 for longer loads.
No. The Level 2 ADAS suite is limited to the Pro variants, which are not sold in Nepal. All three Nepal variants still get six airbags, ESP, hill assists and a 360-degree camera from the Exclusive up.
GO Automobiles is the authorised JSW MG dealer for the Windsor EV in Nepal, with its showroom in Kathmandu.
