Deepal E07 RWD

The Deepal E07 is a full-size electric SUV with a trick few rivals can pull off: at the press of a button, its rear glass roof and tailgate open up to turn the cargo area into an open pickup-style bed. It's sold in China as the Changan Nevo E07, and in Nepal it comes through MAW Vriddhi Autocorp at Rs. 1,09,99,999.

This version carries the Transformer X badge, and its headline upgrade is air suspension with continuous damping control, which keeps adjusting how firm the shock absorbers are as you drive. Ground clearance sits at 200 mm and can be raised to 223 mm, so broken surfaces and rough hill roads are easier to clear without scraping. A single 190 kW motor drives the rear wheels, fed by an 89.98 kWh battery with a claimed 566 km of range on the WLTP test cycle. On a 240 kW DC charger, a 30 to 80% top-up takes about 15 minutes.

At 5,045 mm long with a 3,120 mm wheelbase, the E07 gives five people generous room. The front and rear seats all get massage, heating and ventilation, and both front seats add a zero gravity recline with electric leg rests. Nappa leather, an 18-speaker sound system, a 15.4-inch rotating touchscreen and a head-up display finish off the cabin. An electric partition glass seals the passenger space off from the bed when it's open. Safety runs to front, side, and curtain airbags, a 360° camera, and a full driver assistance suite with adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.
