Seres 3

The Seres 3 is a compact electric SUV that puts space, ground clearance, and a generous feature list ahead of flashy tech. MAW Vriddhi Autocorp sells it in Nepal in two trims: the Comfort costs Rs. 49.99 lakh, and the Premium costs Rs. 52.99 lakh.

A single 99 kW motor drives the front wheels. Its 300 Nm of torque arrives the moment you press the pedal, so it pulls away briskly in stop-start traffic. The 52.7 kWh battery gives a claimed 320 km on the WLTP test cycle. WLTP is a stricter test than the older NEDC figures you may see quoted, so it's a fairer guide to everyday range. When you need a quick top-up, it plugs into CCS2 fast chargers.

Practicality is where the Seres 3 really earns its place. It's 4,385 mm long with a 2,655 mm wheelbase, so five adults fit comfortably. The 525-litre boot grows to 800 litres with the rear seats folded. With 190 mm of ground clearance, it handles broken tarmac and hill roads without fuss.

Every Seres 3 comes with six airbags, stability and traction control, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. For the extra Rs. 3 lakh, the Premium adds a panoramic sunroof, a 360° camera and lane-keep assistance.
