BYD M6

The BYD M6 is a fully electric, seven-seat MPV sold under the same name across BYD's export markets and brought to Nepal by Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. for Rs. 58.90 lakh.

Space is the whole point. Three rows sit on a 2,800 mm wheelbase inside a body measuring 4,710 mm long and 1,810 mm wide, and you still get 180 litres behind the third row, opening to 580 litres with the rear seats folded. A panoramic glass roof keeps the middle and back rows feeling open, not boxed in.

Power comes from a single front-mounted motor making 100 kW and 250 Nm, fed by a 71.8 kWh BYD Blade battery on the e-Platform 3.0 architecture. BYD claims 440 km on the WLTP cycle, a conservative test standard, which leaves room for a week of school runs and errands between charges. Charging runs at up to 7 kW on AC and up to 115 kW on DC, and V2L lets you run appliances and tools straight off the battery.

Safety is well covered at this price, with six airbags, stability and traction control, hill hold, a 360-degree camera, and a driver assistance suite that brings adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot detection and rear cross traffic braking. Ground clearance sits at 175 mm, and the suspension pairs MacPherson struts up front with a multi-link rear.
