Haval Jolion Max EV

The Haval Jolion Max EV is a five-seat electric SUV from GWM with a 58.3 kWh battery and a claimed 400 km of range on WLTP, the standard lab test used to rate EV range. It carries the same Jolion Max name in other export markets. In Nepal, V.G. Impex Pvt. Ltd. sells it in two variants: High at Rs. 57,99,000 and Top at Rs. 60,99,000.

A single 150 kW motor drives the front wheels with 260 Nm of torque. AC charging runs at up to 6.6 kW through a Type 2 port, and DC fast charging is supported. Both variants include V2L (vehicle-to-load), which lets you run 220V appliances from the battery. They also have a heat pump, which warms the cabin more efficiently so heating takes less out of the range.

The body is 4,590 mm long with a 2,710 mm wheelbase and 190 mm of ground clearance. Every Jolion Max EV gets a 14.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Rear passengers get their own AC vents and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.

Driver assistance is rated Level 2, meaning the car can help steer, brake, and accelerate at the same time while you stay in control. Adaptive cruise control keeps a set gap to the car ahead, and traffic jam assist helps in slow traffic. Automatic emergency braking can detect pedestrians and cyclists. A 360° camera with a transparent chassis view shows the ground beneath the car, which is useful in tight spots.

The High variant comes with four airbags, fabric seats and a manual tailgate. The top adds curtain airbags for six in total, a panoramic sunroof with an electric shade, an electric tailgate, ventilated leatherette front seats, and a head-up display. Top also gets rear cross-traffic alert and braking, which watches for vehicles crossing behind you as you reverse.
