Maxus MIFA 7

The Maxus MIFA 7 is a seven-seat electric MPV for families who want real space and a calm drive rather than a tall SUV. It's brought to Nepal by Himalaya Motrox and priced at Rs. 2.45 crore.

The cabin uses a 2-2-3 layout, with two captain seats in the middle row so you can walk straight through to the back. Power sliding doors on both sides open 710 mm wide, which makes getting children or older passengers in and out much easier in tight parking spots. Even with all seven seats up, you get 280 litres of boot space, and folding the 60:40 third row opens that up to 760 litres. Leather seats that are heated and ventilated up front, plus a 1.1 m² opening panoramic sunroof, give it a genuinely upmarket feel.

A 90 kWh battery feeds a 180 kW front motor with 350 Nm of torque, taking you from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds. Range is 480 km on the WLTP cycle and up to 635 km on the WLTP city cycle, which better reflects stop-start traffic. DC fast charging goes from 30 to 80% in about 30 minutes. The 6.6 kW V2L (vehicle-to-load) outlet lets you run appliances straight from the battery.

Safety is a real strength. The MIFA 7 earned five stars from Euro NCAP, carries seven airbags, and adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping, blind spot assist, and a 360° camera.
