Leapmotor B10 Shipments Rerouted Through Korala as Rasuwagadhi Remains Shut

Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Leapmotor in Nepal, has rerouted incoming shipments of the Leapmotor B10 electric SUV through the Korala border point in Mustang. The change follows disruption along the Rasuwagadhi corridor caused by recent flash floods, which forced the closure of the border point through which the B10 is normally brought into the country.
The company said the alternative route will help ensure timely delivery to customers who have already booked the vehicle, adding that it has moved to speed up transportation and customs clearance along the Korala corridor. With units now entering through Mustang, deliveries are expected to begin shortly.
The reroute comes at a point of strong demand for the model. The B10 drew a healthy volume of bookings after its appearances at the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026 and the NADA Auto Show 2026, and interest picked up further after a price reduction that followed the government's budget announcement. The electric SUV currently retails at Rs. 54.99 lakh in Nepal.
The B10 is powered by a 160 kW rear-wheel-drive motor paired with a 67.1 kWh battery pack, with a claimed range of up to 600 km on the CLTC cycle and 180 mm of ground clearance. Its equipment list includes a 14.6-inch 2.5K HD touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera with recording capability, leatherette seats with heating and ventilation, and a panoramic sunroof with an integrated sunshade.
The shift to Korala underlines how heavily Nepal's growing EV trade depends on a small number of northern border crossings, and how quickly distributors must adapt when one of them goes offline. For Shangrila Motors, the immediate priority is clearing the backlog of booked units and beginning handovers without letting the Rasuwagadhi closure stall momentum built up over the recent expo season.
